Fall is the perfect season for stories around the campfire. It’s also a great time to launch a podcast!
Welcome to Tell Me A Story.
Stories are all around us. They’re used to entertain, to sell, to persuade and to inspire. We tell stories to share truth and sometimes to hide the truth. Our stories have power. They matter. Fostering our stories — capturing and cultivating the treasures they hold — could be the most valuable gift we give to the world and to ourselves.
Author, theologian and storyteller Frederick Buechner said this:
“To lose track of our stories is to be profoundly impoverished not only humanly but also spiritually.”
I couldn’t agree more. I’d like to help you see the value in stories, yours and mine. In the past, I’ve offered you a tool to guide you in the quest to collect some of your stories (you can still get that here). But I enjoyed my summer conversations with Brenda Yoder in her podcast On the Front Porch so much that I decided to take my passion for stories a step further.
Each week at Tell Me A Story I’ll offer listeners a word of encouragement and a little story to go with it. And from time to time I’ll invite ordinary folks like you and me to share a story.

Thank you, Ingrid, for sharing your passion for stories with your audience. Your podcast is delightful and I look forward to learning more. Love you!
